A real example
Want to pay Rs 13,000 net? Here's what it really costs.
A part-time housekeeper, 3 hours a day, Monday to Friday. For her to take home Rs 13,000, the gross salary is Rs 13,333.33. On top of that you pay Rs 1,666.66 to the MRA, of which Rs 1,333.33 is your own share.
Run the numbers for your situation →| Gross salary | Rs 13,333.33 |
| Employee CSG 1.5% | − Rs 200.00 |
| Employee NSF 1% | − Rs 133.33 |
| Net pay | Rs 13,000.00 |
| Employer CSG 3% | Rs 400.00 |
| Employer NSF 2.5% | Rs 333.33 |
| PRGF 4.5% | Rs 600.00 |
| Total cost to employer | Rs 14,666.66 |
MRA rates in force on 27 October 2026. Full month, no absences.
Grounded in the law
Every rule has a source. Every figure can be explained.
Lakazone applies the Workers' Rights Act 2019, the Domestic Workers (Remuneration) Regulations 2019, the National Minimum Wage and the MRA rates. When the law changes, the rules are updated once, for everyone.
